Cheerleader Tryouts

LOMS cheerleader and mascot tryouts will be held on March 8, 2024.

  • Sign up with Mrs. Carson in the office to get a permission form. 
  • Tryout packets will NOT be distributed until the parent permission form has been signed and returned. Grades/behavior will be checked before packets are handed out as well. 
  • Permission forms must be returned to the middle school office on or before February 8th by 4:15 PM. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Late forms will NOT be accepted and will result in a student not being allowed to try out for the 2024-2025 season.

Important Dates

  • February 8, 2024 (02/08/24) - Sign ups end, cheerleader/mascot parent permission form due
  • February 14, 2024 (02/14/24) - Packets passed out
  • February 28, 2024 (02/28/24) - Parent/candidate information mandatory meeting (6:00 PM - LOMS cafeteria)
    • ALL PAPERWORK FROM PACKET IS DUE AT THE START OF THE MEETING!
  • March 4, 2024 (03/04/24) - Closed gym to learn tryout material (6-8 PM) - Cheer/mascot candidates only!
  • March 5, 2024 (03/04/24) - Closed gym to learn tryout material (6-8 PM) - Cheer/mascot candidates only!
  • March 6, 2024 (03/04/24) - Closed gym to learn tryout material (6-8 PM) - Cheer/mascot candidates only!
  • March 7, 2024 (03/07/24) - Optional Open Gym (6-7 PM) - Parents may attend
  • March 8, 2024  (03/08/24) - Tryouts (8:00 AM) Be in the gym at 7:30 AM!
