Read Across America

Lone Oak Middle School students recently immersed themselves in the enchanting world of literature as they celebrated Read Across America, an annual event that coincides with the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. The ELAR classes transformed into havens of imagination and learning, promoting a fun and relaxing environment where students could indulge in the magic of reading while clad in their cozy pajamas.

Students were encouraged to explore a wide array of books of their choice, allowing them to delve into genres and stories that piqued their interests. From adventurous tales to heartwarming classics and everything in between, the ELAR classes buzzed with excitement as students eagerly shared their literary adventures with classmates and teachers alike.
