Middle School Nurse Aide

My name is Wendy Baker and I am the nurse aide for Lone Oak Middle School. I am starting my third full school year at LOISD and my 2nd year as the nurse aide at the middle school campus. 

I have been involved in healthcare since I was a senior in high school, spending the last 25 years on the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) side. I was a Paramedic in lowa for 20 years where I obtained my certification from the University of lowa and I currently hold a Texas Paramedic certification along with being CPR & AED certified. With my current Paramedic certification, I am trained in all aspects of medical care. 

I am excited to be with the Lone Oak Middle School students and staff as I feel my years of experience in healthcare will be beneficial to the campus and I'm looking forward to being available to them and to celebrate being a Buffalo!
